Tenderness, held against time

The first thing I notice is not ceremony but closeness. Two figures survive the distance between their world and ours because the gesture still reads: shelter, weight, trust. The archive gives us an object number. The image gives us a human instinct that needs no translation.

This is why I keep the sacred works together. Belief changes across centuries; the need to hold and be held does not.
