No database. No paywall. No behavioural tracking. Just a catalogue that can be rebuilt.
Vault de Lupin is a static Astro museum. A manifest reads the recovered corpus, joins museum API records with Lupin’s catalogue, measures every image, infers provisional themes, and generates one permanent page per work.
Pagefind builds the search index after the museum is rendered. Search, filters, pagination, editorial notes, and all 12 exhibitions work without a hosted database or visitor account.
The visual system uses native CSS, semantic HTML, and a small amount of browser JavaScript. It respects reduced-motion preferences, supports keyboard navigation, and keeps the artwork—not interface chrome—at the centre.
